Please note that we will use your personal information in order to provide certain marketing information for the same or similar services you have previously used. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time and can object to processing of this nature.
Legitimate interests: To use your personal data for any other purpose described in this privacy policy, we will rely on a condition known as "legitimate interests". It is in our legitimate interests to collect your personal data as it provides us with the information that we need to provide our services to you more effectively. Effectively, this requires us to carry out a balancing test of our interests in using your personal data (for example, in order to provide you with the information, products and services that you request from us), against the interests you have as a citizen and the rights you have under data protection laws (for example, to not have your data sold to third party marketing companies without your knowledge, or not store your personal data in insecure or unstable countries or regions). The outcome of this balancing test will determine whether we can use your personal data in the ways described in this privacy policy (except in relation to certain marketing activities, where we will always rely on your explicit consent). We will always act reasonably and give full and proper consideration to your interests in carrying out this balancing test.
HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION FOR
When your data is no longer required for the purposes listed above, we will delete it within [5 years from the data of our last positive interaction with you]. This data is archived where customers are inactive for a period of 2 years. In some circumstances, some of your data will be deleted in much shorter timescales, where possible (e.g. copies of marketing emails, and other communications). [We keep your personal information for 5 years, to enable us to retain the information we may require for legal and regulatory purposes].

Targeted Advertising
We use targeted advertising through Facebook adverts to keep you aware of what we’re up to and to help you find our products. We do this by using a variety of digital marketing networks and ad exchanges, and a range of advertising technologies such as web beacons, pixels, ad tags, cookies, and mobile identifiers, as well as specific services offered by some sites and social networks, such as Facebook’s Custom Audience Service. Custom audience is an ad targeting option that lets us find existing audiences among people who are on Facebook, or create 'lookalikes' which expands the audience to include people that display similar traits. In order to opt out of targeted advertising you need to disable your ‘cookies’ in your browser settings (please see our cookies policy) or opt out of the relevant third-party(https://adssettings.google.com/u/0/authenticated). To find out more information on how to opt-out of targeted advertising, please refer to ‘how to opt-out’ listed below.
Our Use of Analytics and Targeted Advertising Tools
We use a range of analytics and targeted advertising tools to display relevant website content on our website and online advertisements on other websites such as Facebook. This is to deliver relevant content to you in marketing communications (where applicable), and to measure the effectiveness of the advertising provided. For example, we use tools such as Google Analytics to analyse Google's interest-based advertising data and/or third-party audience data (such as age, marital status, life event, gender and interests) to target and improve our marketing campaigns, marketing strategies and website content. We may also use tools provided by other third parties, such as Facebook and Mailchimp to perform similar tasks using your Identity, Contact, Technical, Usage, Marketing and Communications Data, to serve Facebook adverts to people who have visited our website, or to users who have subscribed to our email newsletter.
How to Opt-Out of Targeting Advertising
In order to opt-out of targeted advertising you need to disable your ‘cookies’ in your browser settings (please see our cookies policy) or opt-out of the relevant third-party (https://adssettings.google.com/u/0/authenticated).
For example, you can opt-out of the Google Display Advertising Features. In order to opt-out of targeted advertising through Facebook;
1. Go to Account settings in Ads Manager. You may be asked to re-enter your Facebook password.
2. Click Deactivate Ad Account, below the ad agency header.
3. You'll be asked to confirm the deactivation and provide a reason why (optional).
4. Click Deactivate Ad Account.
As an added privacy measure, you can also use the The Digital Advertising Alliance (which includes companies such as Google and Facebook) provides a tool called WebChoices that can perform a quick scan of your computer or mobile devices, find out which participating companies have enabled customised ads for your browser, and adjust your browser preferences accordingly. To unsubscribe or ‘opt-out’ from our email newsletter, please refer to our
Mailchimp section (as described above).
